Home Care Support Workers
Compassionate Care Ltd
HOME CARE WARRIORS NEEDED!
The reason why Compassionate Care have so many Care Assistants who have been with them for over 6 years is simple – we value and respect all of our Care Assistants, we always say thank you for making a difference and we provide a friendly, flexible and supportive framework for you to work in.
Our main focus is our Care Assistants, most of our office staff started as Care Assistants and have been promoted internally. With our Supervisors, Co-ordinator s, Administrator and Manager all still delivering care, we are a business that stays in touch with its Care Assistants because we lead from the front. We listen to our staff, we respond and we make changes to constantly improve.
Our 6 longest serving Care Assistants have been with us for a combined total of over 30 years! The reason why our Care Assistants stay with us so long is simple – because we respect and value all of our staff and we provide a friendly, professional and supportive working environment and most importantly you become part of the Compassionate Care family!
You will enable the people we support to lead fulfilling lives based upon their personal support needs. You need to work to the standards set internally (by Compassionate Care) and externally (by the Care Quality Commission), doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and your colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive. You will achieve this by communicating with individuals and by following the underpinning principles of Person Centred Active Support (PCAS).
Making sure that you support people to be as involved as possible in every moment of their lives
Offering people opportunities to be involved as often as possible, in the way that best suits them, eg. as little or as much as they like.
Offering ‘just enough’ support to ensure people succeed.
Ensuring that people you support make as many choices as possible, so they remain in control.
As we provide 24/7 support, you will need to be able to work shifts, including weekends, some nights and Bank Holidays. Our shift patterns are as follows:
7am - 3pm / 8am to 2pm
3pm - 11pm / 4pm - 10pm / 5pm to 10pm or 11pm
You can work shifts between the above times flexibly to fit in around family life, however you must be able to commit to alternative weekends. This role does involve personal care and medication and so it s vitally important that you are reliable and trustworthy.
