Nurse Seekers a proud to be recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Nurse on behalf of a fantastic quality, family run Nursery based near the Archway and Upper Holloway area, London. The successful candidate must be an energetic and passionate individual with a real passion for childcare!

Key Responsibilities

• Use professional knowledge of the individual and diverse ways that children learn and develop, to meet their differing needs. Establish positive and sensitive relationships with children. Act as a role model and set achievable expectations.
• Organize and set up the learning and play environment indoors and outdoors in accordance with the planning in place, and ensure equipment and resources are available and appropriate to meet the needs of the individual children in the group.
• Support children’s mealtimes with teaching children about healthy eating, appropriate behaviour at the table, sitting and talking to them at their level. Support children’s independence when serving meals, snacks, and drinks.
• Provide objective and accurate feedback and reports for parents and other professional on children’s achievements, progress, and related matters.
• To undertake any duties set by the management team that will assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• To engage in safeguarding training when required.
• Conduct parents evening and support any parent activities and workshops.
• To offer children a safe, secure, caring, and supportive environment, providing learning and play opportunities to foster their growth and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and to achieve a high standard of education and care for children from 3 months to 5 years.
• To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
• Support children’s physical needs of children and encourage good standards of personal hygiene, whilst promoting independence.

Essentials

• Level 3 or Equivalent in Childcare or above.
• Paediatric First Aid.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in the written and spoken English Language.
• Good knowledge or and act in accordance with current legal and statutory frameworks, policies and procedures.
