We are looking for dedicated Permanent, Full time qualified Level 3 Early Years Educators to join our CCN family.

Starting Salary – £22,816 (40 hours) next pay review date 1st April 2023

Location – West Hampstead NW6 London

Camden Community Nurseries is a not-for-profit charity that runs 3 nurseries in the Borough of Camden for children ranging from three months to five years.

CCN is dedicated to providing high quality affordable childcare for our local communities.

CNN is governed by a Board of Trustees who are mostly parents of the children that attend our Nurseries. We strive to provide the very best for both our staff and the children who attend our Nurseries.

The Nurseries are open 50 weeks of the year from 8am - 6pm.

Shift hours are between 7.45am - 3.45pm to 10.00am - 6.00pm.

At CCN full time staff can work 35 or 40 hours per week.

· Annual Leave - All employees are entitled to a total of 28 days holiday.

· 12 days holiday plus 8 days when the Nursery is closed during Christmas/New Years and the week of August plus 8 days bank holidays.

· You will have an additional day off on your Birthday for Permeant staff and 7 paid hours for Casual Staff members.

· After 2 years of service, you are entitled to an additional 1 day of holiday. This will be added each year up to 31 days in total holiday entitlement.

· Any overtime worked will be paid back as Time in Lieu.

· Pay and Pensions – CCN will match your contribution up to 5%. That means if you pay 5% we will pay 5% so your monthly Pension total is 10%.

· Staff are paid monthly and before our Christmas and our August holidays.

· Childcare – We give our staff a 40% discount on childcare fees on our lowest fee band with no deposit or registration fee.

· Training - You will attend a minimum of 3 CCN Training days per year and have additional training based on your interest and professional developmental needs.

· Your DBS and any trainings are paid for by the company.

Job Description

You will be responsible for providing a high level of care and appropriate learning opportunities for children who attend the nursery.

You must genuinely enjoy working with children and have a warm, caring, positive attitude.

You will need:

Experience of working with children aged 0-5 and their families in a nursery or crèche environment and have a clear understanding of how to keep children safe.

Experience as a key person and working knowledge of the EYFS.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as working in a professional manner with both adults and children.

Good verbal and written skills.

A positive attitude and good timekeeping.

To be available to work 35 or 40 hours per week on a shift rotation.

Qualifications, Early Years Professionals, NVQ or CACHE level 3 or equivalent in Education and Childcare.
