Level 3 Nursery Nurse
Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse on behalf of a fantastic quality nursery based in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate must strive for care, passion and excellence and be willing to full-fill their greatest potential whilst providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care.
- Plan and provide effective teaching and learning
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Prepare and Supervise Activities
- Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
- Make accurate and effect assessments of the children during the stages of development
- Work with the manager and inspectors during inspections by regulatory bodies and to assist in the implementation of any recommendations.
- Be available to work flexible shift patterns to meet the needs of the nursery between the hours of 8am until 6pm.
- Work as a team with other staff members.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management.
Essentials
- Childcare and Education qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above.
- Be able to engage with children, staff and be creative
- First Aid qualification.
- Sound knowledge of childcare development from birth to five years.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
