Job Description:

Care/ Compliance Co-ordinator in Newcastle Under Lyme providing support in ST1, ST3, ST5, ST6 and ST7

  permanent contract. Plus on- call duties

 

Founded in 2005, Archangel Care began with a single, locally based residential unit for adults with learning disabilities. It has subsequently grown year on year and now has three branches covering Nottingham, Staffordshire and West Cheshire.

We provide care and support for Elderly customers who wish to remain in their own homes, some of our customers have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs. Our customers are all very different with their own individual needs and interests, and we tailor their support to help them live a happy and fulfilled life, supporting them with personal care, administration of medication, some meal preparation and some general domestic tasks.

 

We are now looking for a Care/ Compliance Co-Ordinator to support our branch team in developing the existing branch based in Newcastle Under Lyme supporting a team of Support Workers in the Staffordshire region ST1, ST3, ST5, ST6 and ST7

 

The successful applicant will ideally be in an identical position.

 

We expect our Care/ Compliance Co-Ordinator to have an excellent understanding of legislation and experience in supporting an established team in ensuring the service provision is individualised and person centred to each client’s needs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients.

 

You will report to the Registered Manager & Care Managers and your duties will include:

  • Reviewing of person centred support plans and risk assessments
  • Completing compliance checks throughout the staff team, inc Supervisions, Spot Checks, Competency Assessments including training / shadowing requirements.
  • Client quality monitoring calls and visits
  • Audits
  • Reviews and professional meetings

Care/ Compliance Co-Ordinators are also required to build positive relationships with vulnerable adults, enhance their independence, improve their quality of life and help them become participating members of their community, if that's you then please get in touch.

What we are looking for:

  • The ability to build positive professional relationships with service users and colleagues
  • Someone who offers consistent and friendly support with attention to detail
  • Good judgement and sense of responsibility with limited supervision
  • Experience of working and supporting Elderly customers who wish to remain living in their own home, also experience of supporting customers with learning disabilities, mental health needs would be valuable but not essential for the role.
  • The ability to communicate within diverse environment
  • Car driver with access to own vehicle with business insurance

· PeoplePlanner – For all rostering, compliance and the generation of invoices

· Gsuite – For calendar and all other documentation purposes

 

Experience and requirements:

  • Extensive care experience, (essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Experience of carrying out medication supervisions, care certificate observations, completing spot checks on staff, quality monitoring call and visits to customers
  • Organisational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Availability to assist with on-call duties (1 night per week, and every 4th weekend)
