Nursery Nurse
Our Client are looking to employ a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their quality private day nursery based near Wheathampstead, St Albans. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
- Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery
- Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors.
- Plan and facilitate activities, and support children’s learning at all times.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
- Minimum Level 2/3 Early Years Childcare qualification
- Experience and knowledge of the EYFS.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and full of ideas to encourage learning and development.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
