We are looking for:

A person who has good home cooking skills, to work 8-2 Saturday and Sundays at Heaton House.

Catering for 13 Residents and a maximum of 4 staff.

Rates of pay are £13.50 weekend rate and £11.50 weekday rate if covering for holidays or sickness.

Wages are paid on a four week basis and paid directly into bank account.

Holiday calculated pro rata with a maximum of 5.6 weeks holiday a year.

Essential skills/Experience This position would suit a person who is used to cooking for a large family, and the ability to prepare and serve good home cooked foods including: A roast dinner on a Sunday, afternoon cakes for tea, and desserts - following a 4 weekly menu.
Ideal Candidate/Profile Someone who wishes to become part of a team, providing nutritional meals to people with dementia. You must be able to work alone, supported by our care team. Have good time management skills and the ability to run a clean, safe kitchen. Would suit a person wanting to work around children at school.
