Children's Senior Support Worker

Atrium Healthcare are recruiting on behalf of a client for Senior Support Workers to provide support to Children with Emotional Behaviour Disorders, Autism/ Learning Difficulties and Challenging Behaviours based in Leiston. The home is rated "Good" in all areas!

As a Senior Support Worker you will work as part of the wider staff team to achieve the statement of purpose of the children’s home. As a Senior Member you will act as the lead support worker on your shifts and will need to plan, guide and manage a team of staff working with you. You will play a proactive role in supporting the management of the home to achieve the care plans for each child and will promote this ethos amongst the care worker team.

Shift pattern:

• 8 hour shifts. These are worked around a rota of weekdays and weekends.
• Sleep in's may be required and will be paid in addition to salary.

Essential:

• Well-developed written and verbal communication, behaviour management skills, knowledge of safeguarding and Level 3 Diploma Children’s Workforce.
• Full UK driving license.
