Home Manager


Our services in Kettering are located in quiet residential areas, supporting adults with a diagnosis of complex needs, Learning Disability and/or Autism to live independently and to access a range of community resources and activities. 


Our Manager vacancy is to oversee an established service and to also support with the development and running of a new Supported Living service. Using person-centred approaches, our key aspirations are to support people to meet their individual outcomes and live the life of their choosing. 


We are looking for a motivated individual who will be responsible for maintaining quality and developing the service, adapting to changing needs. You will have full responsibility for making sure the service is compliant with CQC regulation, as well as best practice standards. You will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of service delivery, leading outstanding care and support, ensuring individual outcomes are met.


We are looking for a committed individual with a positive and proactive attitude. You will ensure that the needs of adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism are assessed, identified and met through careful programme planning and behaviour support; manage an agreed budget to provide an efficient service; supervise and manage staff performance and coordinate positive liaison with external agencies and the multi-disciplinary team.


Applicants must have:

  • Good knowledge and experience of regulations and practice relating to adult social care.
  • Business and management skills to manage the work efficiently and effectively.
  • Financial experience to ensure the service is run on a sound financial basis including long- term financial viability of the service.


Qualifications and Education:

  • A recognised social care qualification or a professional qualification relevant to working with adults at least at level 4
  • A qualification in management at least at level 4
  • At least two years experience relevant to social care within the last five years
  • At least one years experience supervising and managing professional staff
  • Driving licence


Hours of work:

Full-time (permanent) and taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
