We are a small family run 34 bed dementia care home looking for DAY and NIGHT assistants( non-sleeping shifts). If you are caring, bubbly and want to be part of a happy team, get in contact with us. We don't require care industry experience required, just the right attitude.
We have a tracked record of training people and most staff have been with us for a few years. We support staff for further education like NVQs and short courses. Additional benefits are also available like bonus, holiday, pension are available. Salary based on 36 hour week.
Shifts are 8 to 8, or 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8am. Alternate weekends are a must. There is scope to pick up additional shifts at an enhanced rate. Holiday pay and pension is also paid.
Typical responsibilities are:
- Assisting residents in morning and evenings with personal care, bathing etc
- Assisting some with meals
- Fun activities with residents
- Laundry
- Assisting with drinks and snacks trolleys
- Logging when needs are met
- Flagging any concerns to seniors and managers for follow up
