We are open 51 weeks a year and looking for someone full time, over 51 weeks.

Little Nightingales Day Nursery, based in London Colney, is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Cook/Chef Monday to Friday, 30 hours – 40 hours per week. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering healthy and high-quality meals for children aged 3 months to 5 years. You will have the opportunity to utilise fresh produce to create nutritious and delicious home-cooked meals for our little ones.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver meals on time, ensuring the highest quality and meeting the dietary needs of the children.

- Contribute new ideas to the kitchen to maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality meals.

- Follow daily menus and place orders with suppliers.

- Maintain strict standards of quality control, adhering to the ethos, culture, and policies of the Nursery.

- Work collaboratively within a team environment.

- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Policy and COSHH Regulations.

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any accidents or incidents promptly.

- Maintain a clean and hygienic catering area, along with high personal hygiene standards.


Salary: £11.50-£12.25 per hour


Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Experience:
