Requirements;
- MUST drive and have access to own vehicle
- Full time (Between the hours of 7am - 10pm)
- Can offer flexible working hours (ie; 7am - 2pm)
- Must hold a full and valid driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Availability to work alternate weekends
Duties will include:
- Supporting Clients to achieve as much (or as little) as they wish to that day
- Providing clients with companionship, talking about all things from their childhood experiences, adult life & all the stories that come with it.
- Personal care - Helping people to use the shower, have a strip wash or get into the bath, assisted or unassisted
- Help clients to remain healthy, by supporting them with administering medication
- Helping clients to complete Shopping, either online or in person
- Housekeeping support to keep their home tidy & safe
- Meal preparation, whether it's home cooked meals or simply microwave meals
- Enabling Clients to get to appointments or go on outings
Personal Care:
Our roles do require you to support clients with personal care, which sometimes carries with it worries or concerns, however there is absolutely no need. The term 'Personal Care' is such a widely used term, and can be assisting clients to wash/shower by helping cleaning areas of the body they cannot reach safely, helping them to get dressed into the clothes they feel most comfortable in, supporting clients to change into a new incontinence pad & so much more.
No matter what it is, our experience team of Trainers & CareGivers will show you exactly how to do it, so you can be confident & our clients can live safely, with dignity & respect shown to them at all times.
