Job Requirements / Description

The position involves supporting 2 gentlemen with learning disabilities within the Conwy area to live active and fulfilled lives.

This is a full time role working on a two on and two off pattern with sleep in's

Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training and support will be provided by the experienced and knowledgeable wider team to enable you to succeed in the role and company. 

Having a full driving licence is preferable as the role will involve taking the people we support to various activities within the community.

Essential skills/Experience · Assisting with all aspects of personal care, including daily living activities · Maintaining the upkeep of shared homes · Providing support to the service users to develop their communication skills · Ensuring comfort and safety for service users · Observing and using non-verbal communication
Ideal Candidate/Profile * Superb verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to respond to non-verbal communication * A positive outlook with a compassionate, caring nature * Reliable and flexible towards tasks and hours * Ability to use own initiative and remain calm within what can be a challenging role
