Many people have the wrong idea of what being a Carer involves. If you have experience in the industry, you will know this already and if you are new to care, we will talk you through all the aspects of the job, because it is so much more than just personal care, medication, eating, or drinking. It is about making that client’s day better and supporting them to keep on living a fulfilling life, in the comfort of their own homes!

With Calida Care, you tell us the hours you have available and we will offer you the flexibility you need, will keep you as close to home as possible, and schedule you in to see a regular group of clients with whom you will be able to build a relationship, so it won’t even feel like working. Together, we can achieve the work-life balance you need!

We have a contract which allows us to accept new clients based on your availability and therefore will be able to fill your available hours. We offer guaranteed hours, even to part-time employees to give you financial security and stability.

We don't stipulate what hours/days Carers are required to work and will work with you to match your availability with our schedule. All we ask is that carers are available for two 6 hour shifts a month, on one Saturday and one Sunday wherever possible.

Inexperienced Carers will receive a hands-on induction training with our lovely trainers, you will shadow one of our experienced team members that will introduce you to the clients and will make you feel comfortable to take on this new challenge. If you are an experienced Carer, the in-house induction training program can be tailored around you.

Non drivers are welcome to apply but would be required to work some evenings and weekends. Non drivers are paid £11.00 to £14.00 per hour.
