Nursery Room Leader

Our Lady’s is a co-educational 3 months-11 years Independent School and Nursery in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

The Nursery is actively recruiting for a Nursery Room Senior (Maternity Cover - 1 year). The successful candidate will be required to lead our wonderful team in our Owlets room with children aged 3 months – 2 years. Please note that the role will ideally commence from January 2024 with the possibility to extend.

We are looking for a qualified Nursery Room Senior who is dynamic, shows initiative and loves working with children, providing the best levels of care to our children, supporting them by providing a unique and challenging environment for the children to thrive. Our Lady’s Nursery is an outstanding setting and the successful candidate will be fully supportive of our ethos. The successful candidate will report directly to the Nursery Manager and will ensure that pupil welfare is given highest priority.

Room Senior requirements & Skills:

- Full and relevant level 3 qualification – Essential

- 1 year+ experience working in childcare – Essential

- Experience working in a senior position – Desirable

- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential.

- Knowledge of OFSTED requirements and guidelines – Essential
