Job Requirements / Description
- Overseeing the smooth running and high-quality early years practice within the room and cascading and actioning duties given by the Nursery Manager for the nursery.
- Guide and mentor colleagues to ensure high quality in teaching and learning for all children at all times
- Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with children, families and childcare professionals according to the EYFS
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
-Online Learning Journals
-Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Ensuring high standards in health, safety and the well-being of the children is fully met at all times in line with the policies and procedures of the nursery.
Essential skills/Experience
Level 3 with at least 2 years experience.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Preferably to work an opposite shift pattern to our settings Manager but this is not essential and can be discussed

The Old Fire Station Nursery, Englefield, is situated in leafy Berkshire between Reading and Newbury. Housed in the The Old Fire Station of the Englefield Estate, the nursery has its own built in history and magic for the children.
