Nursery Nurse
Our Client are looking to employ a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their Quality Private Day Nursery based near Burnage, Manchester. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the organisation and planning of activities for the children within the Nursery.
- To promote the work and image of the nursery by always maintaining high standards of personal
- To observe children as individuals and in groups and monitor behaviour progress and possible
- To have a solid understanding and up to date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assist the Senior practitioners with the planning, preparation and delivery of the curriculum and evaluation of activities.
- To be responsible for the planning, setting up and clearing away of activities in the Nursery as whole.
- To be concerned with the general welfare of the children, including matters relating to personal hygiene and health.
- To act as a key carer to a group of children, settling in children and working closely with families.
Essential Criteria
- Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Equivalent Qualification in Early Years
- Updated knowledge of current EYFS
- Professional approach to parents and colleagues
- Team player
- Ability to produce differentiated lessons that cater for a wide range of learning ability
