Level 2 or 3 in Early years or Montessori qualified practitioner required to start in May 2023.

We are a small friendly day nursery set on the edge of a working farm in the village of Tingewick. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and friendly person to work as part of our small team. Caring for children from 3 months to four years of age.  

The role requires you to:

·      Hold a relevant level 2 or 3 or Montessori qualification.

·      Maintain a high standard of care when considering children's welfare and safe guarding needs while implementing and following the nursery policies/procedures at all times.

·      Have a good understanding of the EYFS and safe-guarding policies.

·      Be a self-motivated and forward-thinking person, who enjoys the challenge of educating the children in a fun and creative way.

·      Have a good comprehension of the English language and PC skills will be required to write clear observations and reports on the children’s development.

·      You will also need excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with both parents and children.

·      To be self-motivated and committed to keeping your own knowledge and skills up to date.

·      To attend monthly staff meeting and training.

·      You will be required to work 42.25 hours a week, with one afternoon off a week. Part time hours maybe negotiable.

·      A DBS check and satisfactory references will be obtained before a job is offered to the successful candidate.
