Job Requirements / Description
Experience: EBD / challenging behaviour preferred
Responsibilities:
- Support young people in residential settings
- Behaviour management & emotional support
- Promote routines, education & wellbeing
- Work within safeguarding frameworks
Requirements (ESSENTIAL):
- Minimum 6 months experience working in children’s residential care
- Experience supporting young people with EBD or challenging behaviour
- Understanding of safeguarding & child protection procedures
- Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
Desirable:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- PMVA/MAPA or Team Teach training
- Driving licence
