Live in Carer 
 
(Location: Braintree, Halstead, also looking at areas in general; Essex, Kent, Suffolk). For now we are trying to stick to female only. 
The live in sector is very new within Maplewood, we haven't got any clients and we have been managing people's expectations stating that we cannot guarantee when this will happen, but if they're happy to come on board, do training etc, and gradually build their hours up. - also mentioning this to Suffolk and Kent candidates too.

The Role
  • To get to know the people you care for and build up good relationships.
  • To support our clients to live as independently as possible.
  • To accompany with any social activities and routines they have.
  • Assist with daily tasks in the home, preparing and cooking meals.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Assisting with medication.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Ensure health, safety and well-being of the clients and yourself.
  • Maintain regular and courteous contact with the branch manager.
The Requirements
  • Experience within a Live in care, or hourly care role is preferred.
  • Reliable with an excellent work ethic.
  • Provide the highest standards of care and support.
  • Respect the individuality and confidentiality of the clients.
  • Respect the client’s independence and authority, be mindful of their wishes and to always treat them with fairness and courtesy.
  • Ensure and adhere to strict standards of health and safety thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the clients and themselves at all times.
  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
