We are currently recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager/Room Leader for an excellent private day nursery based near Great Gransden, Bedfordshire.
You will work alongside the Nursery Manager to promote the aims and objectives of the nursery and together be leaders in achieving outstanding childcare for the 0-5 Year Olds at the setting!
You will support in the overall day to day management of the nursery, including implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and all other legal/statutory frameworks.
Requirements:
- Previous Deputy Management experience or experience as a room manager or team leader.
- At least 5 years post qualification nursery experience
- A relevant childcare qualification, level 3 or above or equivalent
- Track record of involvement in Ofsted Inspections
- A positive role model and be able to motivate staff
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
- An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures
·Good communication skills, approachable, confident, and caring with a passion for working with children
·Excellent team player
