Early Years Practitioner

Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery has been the heart of childcare in Uttoxeter since 2002 providing high quality provision.

We are privately owned and there is just one of us so 100% of our attention is given to this setting and the staff and families within it. We earned our Outstanding status in 2009, 2013 and again in May 2018 and we work hard with our dedicated team to maintain it. This is why our staff are such a valued part of our nursery and doing our best for all the staff and children alike is equally important. We are a friendly team with a great working atmosphere and ensure that everyone enjoys coming to work.

We always recognise and reward staff efforts and loyalty and we have staff that have been here since we opened in 2002. We are very supportive of our staff and all our room seniors have worked their way up, some started off as a student.

We have a part time or full time position available and the hours will be within our working week which is Monday to Friday 7.30 to 6.00. We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in child care (not Social Care or Teaching Assistant)
• Are flexible, reliable and have a friendly manner and a good work ethic
• Excellent communication and people skills and good time keeping ability
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine love for working with children
• Confidence to work on your own as well as in a team
