The role


We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting the lives of people in need, working within a committed team, and driven to be the face of the organisation. You will support customers to live independently with choice and control in their own home and work with us to deliver our values across the service.

As a Health Care Support Worker, there is opportunities for both part time and full-time hours, various shifts including weekend work and evenings as required across West Sussex.

Job Description


Essential

·      Excellent Time Management

·      Ability to Communicate effectively to people with diverse support needs and abilities

·      Cultural awareness and empathy towards others

·      Right to work in the UK, we do not offer sponsorship or relocation packages at present

·      DBS Check (completed upon joining)


Desirable

·      Previous experience of care work and providing personal care

·      Knowledge of relevant legislation in care practice

Our care and domestic service provides personalised, quality care and support in your home. We can provide you with the assistance you need to manage many aspects of daily living, helping you to stay independent. 


Are you looking for care and support at home?

Our fully trained Care Support Workers can assist you with:

  • Personal care: including getting up and going to bed, dressing, washing and personal hygiene, and preparing drinks and meals.
  • Domestic tasks: including cleaning, laundry, ironing, changing beds and dish washing.
  • Community, social and leisure activities: including driving you to appointments and activities and assisting you to arrange additional services and support where required.
  • Specialised support: dementia care, mental health support, palliative care and respite care.
