We are local family-owned Care Company established since 1997. We are currently looking to recruit Live-In Carers to join our friendly team of professionals. Our carers are valued and have a strong and supportive management team that maintain contact throughout all placements and give frequent wellbeing checks for carers and service users.
£200 extra in their first monthly salary
Bank/long term up to three months placements available
2 hour break daily
South Cambridgeshire area only
Right to work
Car driver an advantage but not essential.
The role consists of:
- Living with a service user in their home
-Providing companionship
- Helping with personal care and continence care
- Supporting mobility needs
- Administering medication and reporting to the office when the medication is low
- Helping with light domestic duties around the home
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Completing food shopping or picking up prescriptions
Our requirements are:
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK. We do not provide sponsorships
- Undergo a DBS check or hold a transferrable DBS
- Previous experience in care whether it be in a personal or professional capacity
- Be able to complete online training and face to face training before going into a placement (training hours will be paid)
- To be able to work a minimum of two weeks in placement, working on average ten hours per day with a 2 hour daily break
