As a carer you will be responsible for providing daily care and support to the elderly or disabled individuals in the community. This includes tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and administering medication. You may also assist with mobility and rehabilitation exercises and provide companionship and emotional support. In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the care provided and communicating with senior staff, family members and other healthcare professionals as needed. You will be expected to respect confidentiality by not discussing any personal information on individuals or staff with unauthorised people, and storing records securely.
