Job Requirements / Description

Shift pattern: 8am - 4pm Mon - Fri including two weekends per month, when covering weekends you will get two days off the weekdays.

You are required to provide nutritious meals under hygienic conditions and to be aware of the current food laws and regulations.

You should be able to carry out planning of interesting menus providing a balanced and nutritious diet, making the best use of fresh foods, as available.

Prepare and cook meals as required, and to supervise their serving where appropriate.

Provide special diets where necessary as well as taking into account the preferences of individual residents.

Maintain a clean kitchen and kept tidy at the end of the shift

Maintain records of food prepared on a daily basis

Samples kept for 48 hrs of the food prepared

Plan menus on a two weekly basis in consultation with the Manager.
