Horizon Care Southwest Ltd is a domiciliary care company. Horizon Care was established in 2009. We are a Home Care provider delivering a service commissioned by Devon County Council and NHS Devon CCG.
We are looking to recruit Relief/Bank Health Care Assistants for our Exeter branch, to help cover holidays and absence of full-time members of staff.
As a Health Care Assistant your role and duties will be: Carrying out personal and domestic care for clients; including washing/showering, assisting to dress, catheter care, and moving and handling. Preparing and serving hot and cold food at mealtimes, in some cases assisting to feed. Administering medication from blister packs and applying prescribed creams. Attending to any light household chores such as dishes, laundry and bed changing. Enabling clients to live independently and remain safe in their own homes as they wish.
*Up-coming induction dates; weeks commencing 19th September
Driving Licence is highly recommended but not essential. Reliable car required to those who have a licence. A driving licence is required for school hours.

7am-2pm
4pm-10pm
Rates of Pay:
£11ph
Extra £1.25 per hour for Drivers for fuel expenses
Paid Weekly
Holiday Pay paid every 3 months
Health Care Assistants Benefits and Extra’s:
· FREE DBS, Uniform and PPE
· Paid Shadow Shifts offered prior to training.
· Face to face training provided by TEC South West LTD and support to complete Care Certificate
· Car allowance provided to Drivers at a discretionary rate of £1.25 an hour
