We are looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners to join our team!
Full time
Term time only / Approx 34 weeks per year
4-5 days per week (8:30 - 1:00 or 8:30 - 3:00)
About the role
- L3 preferred, L2 or UQ considered if coming with current experience
- Salary range £11-£14.50 per hour depending on qualifications & experience (£22k - £29k FTE)
- Pension plan
- Approx 34 week working year – i.e. term time only, so all holidays to be taken in nursery holiday / closure periods.
- Pay is averaged over 12 months so equal pay each month
- 4 – 5 days per week, 8:30 – 1:00 (or possibly 8:30 – 3:00)
- Small, friendly team which is also part of a larger group of three nurseries plus a wraparound facility at one of them, which is on a school site.
- Initial mentoring / induction and then ongoing training, sometimes on-the-job, sometimes external or online training courses
- Applicants must understand a play-based curriculum that respects each child’s individual needs, interests and challenges
- Applicants must absolutely love working with young children!!
- The successful applicant will be on a half term’s probation. Assuming employment is confirmed s/he will be allocated several key children.
