Pay Rates:
Weekday mornings - £12.82 per hour
Weekend and evenings - £15 per hour
Job Purpose:
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Home Carer assists with daily living activities, personal care, and companionship in accordance with each person’s care plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist service users with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Provide medication support in line with care plans and company policies.
- Help with mobility and transfers, including the safe use of mobility aids and equipment.
- Carry out domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping where required.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting mental well-being.
- Assist with appointments, social activities, and community engagement.
- Observe and report any changes in the service user’s health or circumstances to the supervisor or care coordinator.
- Maintain accurate and timely care records and reports.
- Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential:
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own car
- Male and female applicants are welcome
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Up-to-date training in First Aid, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration
