Daytime Carer required to care for 1 client. NO SPONSORSHIP APPLICANTS
Hours of Work
Tuesday – Friday inclusive 08.30am - 6.30pm
JOBSHARE CONSIDERED FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATES
Duties with the client
Assist with all aspects of personal care to include support to shower twice weekly.
Assist with dressing
Catheter care
Assist with toileting needs as required
Preparing and serving all meals. (This will include cooking fresh ingredients from scratch)
Engaging the service user with activities as required.
Housekeeping duties
These will be completed during the client’s resting periods
Make client’s bed/ change bedding on a weekly basis
Vacuuming downstairs living space and client’s bedroom
Empty the bins/recycling
Empty the dishwasher
Put washing on and then drying tumble drier or airer)
Ironing all the family clothing
Clean downstairs toilet (client’s toilet)
Clean bathroom (client’s bathroom)
Other Duties
These will include but are not limited to
Taking the service user out for social activities/coffee/a walk in the park
Collecting medications from the pharmacy as needed
Dr’s appointments may be required
