Supporting Vulnerable adults in the community, we support a wide range of people with varying needs. We provide full personal care, assisting clients to get up in the morning, washing, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, cooking, shopping, medication, and many other life-changing roles that allow our clients to remain in their own homes.
We are looking for Part-Time & Full Time with alternate weekends are essential. Minimum 16 - 20 hours.
We provide support for our clients from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. 365 days a year - we operate on a week 1 week 2 basis and candidates are required to work alternate weekends, specific shift patterns are agreed by mutual consent whenever possible.
We provide comprehensive training and shadow with a senior member of the team until both you and us are confident you are ready to fly solo. Training continues throughout your employment through refresher courses and new revised training, Recently additions have been Autism and Learning Disability awareness training.

Clients are closely monitored by the team for changes in mental capacity and physical capabilities and these are reported and monitored for appropriate action. This can involve requesting a GP visit for suspected UTls, unexplained changes in behaviour, requesting a District Nurse visit, requesting support from Occupation Therapists (usually for additional equipment), calling in the Speech and Language Therapists usually to assist with planning the support for clients with a compromised swallow.
