Qualified Early Years practitioners are required to join our well established nursery group. We are looking to recruit candidates who have experience working with the relevant planning tools such as Pre-birth to Three, Curriculum for Excellence and is familiar with Realising the Ambition as well as How Good is Our Early Learning and Childcare. Please note that this is a full time, 40 hour, paid week which is typically worked over 4 days with a variable day off in the week. Roles and responsibilities include: - Working closely with children and families - Key worker responsibilities - Team work as well as use of own initiative - Participate in observational assessment and planning children's experiences - Follow health and safety policies and procedures - Participate in self-evaluation activities A working knowledge of planning tools is essential and applicants should be motivated and enthusiastic about child-led learning. You should hold a qualification which means you can register as a practitioner with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). At least 2 years experience preferred.
