Longmoor Care is seeking Day and Night Support Workers, to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to individuals. The Support Worker will ensure that they provide care and support in a person-centred way and give the individuals the opportunity to maintain their independence and gain new skills.
Longmoor Care is a Health and Social Care Company looking for flexible, enthusiastic, compassionate and caring people to provide support to vulnerable adults in small residential settings and support individuals to access the community.
Main Responsibilities include:
Provide personal care to individuals
Support individuals in line with their person-centred plans
Support individuals in the day-to-day tasks involved in ordinary living
Administer medication
Raise any safeguarding concerns regarding the individual
Enable individuals to gain and maintain independence
Support with individuals’ finances
Take individuals to social activities
Organise medical appointments for individuals
Record daily activities
Maintain family and friends contact with individual
Maintain daily paperwork to a high standard
Essential Skills:
Committed to and passionate about supporting and developing others
Has a person-centred approach, seeing people as people, irrespective of disability
Have a clear desire and commitment to working to company values openly and honestly
Shift pattern : 3 shifts on / 3 shifts off
Evidence of Covid 19 vaccination
Desirable skills:
A Full UK Driving License is preferred but not essential
QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Ability to prioritise actions to achieve goals set
