Our Ascot based Nursery and our Bradford-on-Avon based Nursery are looking to recruit a qualified & unqualified, passionate nursery practitioners to join our team.

Qualified Nursery Practitioner:

We are hoping to find someone that will already have a robust knowledge of the EYFS, who has good communication and organisational skills, and who is happy and confident engaging with parents and children alike. The individual must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children. We would ideally like to hire someone who is already qualified to L3 or higher, however a L2 with ambitions to develop further would be considered. Interest in further training and development to L4, L5 or BA would be viewed favourably and supported. The perfect candidate will have ample childcare experience and a full & relevant childcare qualification and will be looking for career progression in their future, potentially moving into team leadership roles.

Unqualified Nursery Practitioner:

We are looking for someone with a keen interest and passion for childcare to become member of our team. We are hoping to find someone who already has some knowledge or experience in the sector, but this is not essential. Experience working with SEN would be preferred, but not essential.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has good communication and organisational skills and who is happy and confident engaging with parents and children alike. The individual must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children. We would ideally like to hire someone with ambitions to become a qualified nursery practitioner with us.


The role is full time, 51 weeks of the year, but we may be able to consider suitable candidates for part time (30 hours per week across 3 days).


All successful candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS and reference check in line with our safer recruitment policy.


Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):


To work alongside the rest of our team to ensure that all children attending the setting are receiving the highest quality care, that they are kept safe and are receiving rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs.


To ensure the setting is offering each and every child enough support in all aspects and components of the EYFS curriculum.


To meet requirements of regulatory bodies in relation to EYFS matters, SENCO, Child Protection and Safeguarding and Health and Safety.


To ensure that company policies, procedures and ethos are adhered to.


To encourage children to learn and develop through play in a child-friendly, informal way.

Essential skills/Experience Unqualified Nursery Practitioner: - Good communication skills - Good organisational skills Qualified Nursery Practitioner - above plus: - Full and relevant childcare qualification - Robust knowledge of EYFS - Ability to conduct and write accurate, informative, well written observations
Ideal Candidate/Profile - Passionate about safeguarding children - Passionate about education in the early years and making it fun and engaging for the children in our care. - Ambitions to become a qualified nursery practitioner OR - Qualified to L3 or above (but L2 may be considered for the right candidate).
