What you’ll be doing As a Senior Care Assistant in one of our homes, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager and Team Leader. You will lead, facilitate, and participate in staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisals, and development activities. You can also expect to administer medication, carry out assessments and develop person-centred care plans. In keeping with the ethos of Precious Care Homes, Senior Care Assistants will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing their own part in establishing an environment that’s homely, welcoming and comfortable. What you’ll need You should have a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards, with previous experience in providing care at a similar level. You will be familiar and experienced in the safe administration of medication and be committed to providing person-centred care to residents.
