Room Leader and Nursery Nurse
Here at Nurse Seekers we are proud to be working for a purpose-built day nursery based near Lynchwood, Peterborough. They are looking for a Room Leader or as well as a Qualified Nursery Nurse. The nursery provides a safe, homely, well-designed environment to help children’s independent skills and the freedom to support each child’s individual learning and development!
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
- Plan and provide effective teaching and learning
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
- Setting up and decontamination of instruments
- Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
- Make accurate and effect assessments of the children during the stages of development
For this role:
- You will need to demonstrate your commitment to children treating every child as an individual and ensure their personal development needs are being met, in line with the EYFS. You will do this by ensuring your key children’s development records are up to date and fully reflect their individual progress
- You must be qualified to at least Level 3 in Childcare for this role and will work as part of the team to deliver outstanding care whilst providing a safe, fun, progressive learning and curious environment to children aged between three and five years of age
- You must love a natural environment and the great outdoors, have dreams and big goals for your future
