An unqualified staff member will receive a salary of between £23,500 and £30,000 per annum (average salary for a an unqualified staff member is currently circa £25,700) inclusive of allowances and bonus. Once you have completed your qualifications you will receive a pay rise and have the opportunity to become a senior care worker which attracts a salary of circa £27.5k inclusive of allowances & bonus which is easily achievable within 2 years.


Shift Pattern: Start time around 7:30am - 11pm, sleep in the home and then do similar shift the next day. You then have 3/4 days off before 2 days back on.


Senior qualified staff members have a great career path into management if desired including a full development plan that includes all the training and support for a fulfilling career.

We provide comprehensive training for all new staff and as an unqualified staff member you will be required to complete an appropriate level 3 diploma within your first two years of employment or if you are already qualified and wish to move to the next stage then we provide the necessary training and qualifications to become the next manager.

All applicants must be 21 years or older, have a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work purposes with business use insurance. We provide residential childrens homes to young people aged 8 to 17 years of age. Our homes are situated in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire and are located in both small communities and rural locations.

 

75 % of our homes are currently rated as Outstanding with Ofsted, 1 of which has been rated as Outstanding for 5 out of the last 6 years and another two for the last 2 years. 

 

We work with children who have emotional, behavioural difficulties and who cannot live with family members or within foster care. We have a great track record of helping young people achieve their targets including reunification with family members, moving on into a productive foster placement or on into independent living. 

 

Our homes sitituated in great locations that allow young people support access to all the things that kids love to do such as horse riding, bowling, cinema, cadets, trampolining, football etc but are far enough away from the influences of negative factors that may cause difficulties in placement.
