With at least 2 years of clinical experience, you will manage a designated caseload using theoretical and practical methods, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
As an active and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide recovery-focused activities, care, and treatments. Your expertise will be put to good use as you will work collaboratively with service users and the team to develop, review, and evaluate individualised care plans.
Take the lead within the occupational health department, by providing support and training to the team, monitoring the budgets and resource purchases. You ll enjoy regional support from healthcare professionals and will be part of an environment where there is an emphasis on teamwork.

Role – Senior Occupational Therapist
Location – Walton on the Hill, Surrey
Salary – £35,000 - £38,000 + Benefits
Hours – 37.5, Full-Time
+ Manages and coordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication by the occupational therapists.
+ Receives and responds promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Ensure the team maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient’s rehabilitation/progress.
+ Maintains and develops close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring clinical practice is in line with Elysiums policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards. Contributes to business growth by actively promoting Elysiums therapy services in line with the local units’ business plan.
+ Maintains effective communication links with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers throughout the patient’s rehabilitation.
+ Contributes to service evaluation and development.
To be successful in this role, you ll need:
+ Holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HPC registration.
+ At least 2 years of clinical experience including some experience of working within a secure setting.

Location: Sturt s Lane, Walton on the Hill, Surrey, KT20 7RQ
You will be working at Sturt House, a recovery-focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over. Working as part of a team, you will provide individualised care and treatment utilising least restrictive practice principles and safe practice to support Service Users in their recovery.
