We are looking for Advanced Support Workers to come and work with our support teams at our new service, Margaret s Close in Knottingley, Wakefield. We will be supporting vulnerable adults who suffered from trauma in their lives, have learning disabilities and may have mental health and/or forensic backgrounds.

In this role, you will play an extremely rewarding part in helping the people we support to fulfill their lives and develop their potential as part of Millennium s Transforming Care programme.

We also want to fulfill the lives of the people we employ. We are creating a positive culture in which we strive to enable the people we employ to reach their goals, whether work or non work related.


We will provide;

We require;

Experience of providing support to people with learning disabilities, complex histories and associated challenges.

Knowledge of supporting people with trauma and risk management

Knowledge of positive behavior support.

Previous experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams in designing and delivering support plans.

An ability to work with sensitive and empathetic approaches.

High levels of resilience.

A person-centered approach.
