Theatre Practitioner - Recovery RGN

* Position: Staff Nurse RGN (Band 5)
* Service: General Hospital
* Care: neurosurgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, and cancer care
* Salary: up to £34,000 per annum
* Hours: Full time 37.5 hours
* Shifts: Must be flexible

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Band 5 staff Nurse RGN Theatre Practitioner - Recovery within a private Hospital based in Oxford. The hospital has gained an international reputation for excellence offering patients a premium service in neurosurgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, and cancer care, supported by a specialist paediatric ward, 7 bedded intensive care unit, and 6 bedded PACU ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Dedicated to delivering safe and compassionate care every day.

Role responsibilities:

* Offer the patient care and support upon arrival on the post anaesthetic care unit
* monitor the patient s health
* providing appropriate care and treatment until the patient has recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery
* assess the patient to ensure they can be discharged back to a ward
* assess the care given during each of the perioperative phases
