Nurse Seekers are extremely excited to currently be recruiting for one of the leading learning disability care providers in the UK. My client provides learning, support and care for more than 1500 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability or autism. There main purpose is to make a positive contribution to the lives of children and adults with disabilities. With this in mind they are now looking to expand their team with a dedicated RGN RMN RNLD for their facility in the picturesque town of St Albans. This service provider gives care to 12 service users who have Learning Disabilities.
The successful RGN RMN RNLD Qualified Nurse will possess excellent communication and clinical skills and will work well within a team. You will take leadership when required to ensure smooth day to day running of the Centre. Reporting to the home manager, you will be accountable for providing the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing, they use a wide range of top end technology to ensure the residents needs are continually meet and they are safe.
For this position, you will need to be a RGN RMN RNLD qualified nurse and experience in a care home environment is desirable but not essential as full support is given. You as a RGN RMN RNLD qualified Nurse will be responsible for administering prescribed medicines in accordance with company s and NMC guidelines, assessing all aspects of each Resident s care needs, whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring that each Resident has an individualised Care Plan.
