If you’re in the position where you have to pay for (or commission) care, or alternatively if you’ve worked in care for a significant period, you’ll no doubt be aware of some of the promises that are made by providers, which often relate to quality, commitment and ‘person centred’ services.
MCSE exists to bridge the gap between what’s promised and what’s physically delivered.
For us, it’s ALL about communication. If we establish what people’s expectations are, we can communicate what’s possible and construct a package of care/support that actually tries to meet people’s needs by listening to what they actually want.
We treat our staff as professionals and clearly lay out what’s expected of them when they start working for us. We reward people for meeting the levels of service we expect, we recognise good service and we share feedback.
