A rewarding opportunity has now arisen to join our prestigious care team at our nursing care home in Exeter. Split over three floors, we care for up to 31 elderly people with various physical health needs. We provide a safe and comfortable home for those who need palliative care and support family members throughout this time.
Our ethos is to be family orientated, professional and person centered. A positive atmosphere is promoted by the Management and all staff in the home's environment and reflects in the well-being of the residents.
The home is located in one of Exeter’s finest residential streets on Howell Road with a relaxing garden in the front and back with shrubs, flower borders, fruit trees and spacious family friendly areas to visit loved ones. We are centrally located and easily accessible from Exeter Central and Exeter St David station.
The Role:
- To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide good quality of health and well-being of the residents.
- To contribute to and implement residents' individual care and person-centered plans.
- To work flexibly to meet peoples’ support needs
- To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the resident’s life.
- To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with your colleagues.
