At Kiddies Korner, we are focused on providing good quality childcare within a warm, safe and happy environment, in which children are encouraged to develop their skills at a pace suited to them.
Job Purpose - To support the day to day care of the children within Kiddies Korner, provide a safe and stimulating environment whilst supporting children to develop their curiosity and knowledge.
Requirements;
- Level 2 & 3 in Childcare
- 8.00am - 3.00pm (Mon - Fri) Term time only
Daily Tasks include;
- To help and maintain a safe and stimulating environment
- Motivate and stimulate the children’s learning abilities, often through both child initiated and adult led activities.
- Help the children to develop their knowledge and deepen their curiosity about the world around them through stimulating activities.
- Work with others, to help plan both indoors and outdoors areas.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
- Share knowledge gained with other practitioners and build and maintain relationships with parents
- Ensuring you are vigilant in regard to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills and to have a positive manner and attitude.
SAFEGUARDING is essential and a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is required.
Salary depending on experience from £10.50 - £12
